  1. NgHteB! Number go higher than ever before!

  2. ENS Token drop vs buying RarePepes. Is this web-3? If so I want out.

  3. NFT.NYC was replete with RarePepe sightings. On day three of the NFT.NYC event on Friday, MetaKovan, the NFT collector who famously bought Beeple’s “Everydays: The First 5000 Days” NFT for $69 million earlier this year, snapped up a Rare Pepe NAKAMOTO Card for $500,000 via auction last week.

  4. Apple CEO Tim Cook has disclosed that he owns cryptocurrency, but said the investment was from a “personal point of view” and not indicative of Apple having crypto ambitions. Asked if he personally owns bitcoin or ether, Cook responded, “I do. I think it’s reasonable to own it as part of a diversified portfolio.” He continued, however, “I wouldn’t go invest in crypto [for Apple], not because I wouldn’t invest my own money, but because I don’t think people buy Apple stock to get exposure to crypto.” Cook went on to say Apple has no immediate plans to accept crypto payments.

  5. Robinhood writes: ""Late in the evening of November 3, we experienced a data security incident. An unauthorized third party obtained access to a limited amount of personal information for a portion of our customers. Based on our investigation, the attack has been contained and we believe that no Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or debit card numbers were exposed and that there has been no financial loss to any customers as a result of the incident. The unauthorized party socially engineered a customer support employee by phone and obtained access to certain customer support systems. At this time, we understand that the unauthorized party obtained a list of email addresses for approximately five million people, and full names for a different group of approximately two million people. We also believe that for a more limited number of people—approximately 310 in total—additional personal information, including name, date of birth, and zip code, was exposed, with a subset of approximately 10 customers having more extensive account details revealed. We are in the process of making appropriate disclosures to affected people. After we contained the intrusion, the unauthorized party demanded an extortion payment. We promptly informed law enforcement and are continuing to investigate the incident with the help of Mandiant, a leading outside security firm."" – https://blog.robinhood.com/news/2021/11/8/data-security-incident

  6. A short paper from Fernando Nietom asserts that bitcoin is inherently volatile. It reads: “The value of an asset with a fixed supply only depends on its utility. It its utility grows, its value will grow. If its utility fluctuates, its value will fluctuate as well.” – https://gist.github.com/fernandonm/81cb21bdce0910055de32b98ee4119e1
